1. Who is responsible for digital instructions?
The machine manufacturer is always responsible for the content, updates, and compliance of the instructions. The platform provides only the software infrastructure for management and consultation.
2. Are instructions accessible without login?
Yes. All published instructions are freely accessible, without registration or authentication, in compliance with Regulation (EU) 2023/1230.
3. How do you access digital instructions?
Instructions can be accessed via: QR code applied on the machine, direct link on the machine or official documents, public search on the portal.
4. What happens if the QR code is damaged or missing?
Instructions remain accessible via the public portal, via the link in the EU Declaration of Conformity, via search by manufacturer and model.
5. Are instructions available over time?
Yes. All published manuals remain available for at least 10 years from the machine's market launch, as required by regulations.
6. How are manual revisions managed?
Each update generates a new version of the manual. Previous versions are not deleted, remain available for download, and are clearly marked as "no longer valid".
7. Can a published manual be deleted?
No. Once published, a manual cannot be deleted. This ensures traceability and regulatory compliance.
8. How is the valid version of the manual indicated?
The currently valid version is clearly highlighted as the published version. Previous versions are indicated as deprecated.
9. Can instructions also be provided in paper format?
Yes. The digital platform does not exclude the possibility of providing a paper manual, which remains available upon request from the user.
10. In which languages are instructions available?
Instructions are published in the languages indicated by the manufacturer, consistent with the machine's target market.
11. Who can upload or modify manuals?
Only the user authorized by the manufacturer. Each upload is tracked and associated with the responsible party.
12. Does the system record changes?
Yes. For each manual, the following is recorded: upload date, publication date, version, and the person who performed the operation.
13. Is the platform EU certified?
There is no EU certification for software. The platform is designed to support manufacturers in complying with Regulation (EU) 2023/1230.
14. What does the manufacturer show during an inspection?
The manufacturer shows: the EU Declaration of Conformity, the reference to digital instructions, and access to the portal with the manual and version history.
15. Does the platform replace the manufacturer's obligations?
No. The platform does not replace the manufacturer's obligations but provides a structured tool to fulfil them correctly.
The platform provides software infrastructure for managing digital instructions. Responsibility for content remains with the machine manufacturer.
